during my studies I found myself more interested within the field of
business and fashion. In order to increase and combine my knowledge
in these areas I enrolled onto The Open University's Retail
Management course which I am doing in the form of distance learning,
and the Advertising and Promotion course with The Open College.
Through these studies I am
gaining a further understanding with how organizations and companies
are managed and gives me a number of ideas for developing my
knowledge and supports the development of my own self-management
skills.
I developed my communication,
organization and multi-tasking skills during my time working with
Terranova. In particular, my visual managing skills which included
planning, co-ordinating and managing stock availability, overseeing
intake, understanding of customer service and advertising.
Furthermore, I got a good understanding of looks and trends through
preparing presentations on these topics which were then shared and
used around the whole company including head office.
I am confident that the
combination of my education, experience, enthusiasm, responsibility,
determination and willingness to learn will make me an asset to your
company.
